the situtation
The client is commercial real estate finance corporate office with 30 independently-managed nationwide offices with disparate marketing and advertising efforts. They needed help unifying the branding and marketing efforts from strategy to identity to collateral and beyond.
the solution
I began by building a solid foundation of brand strategy, key messaging and brand guidelines that would focus and connect each offices’ efforts to build recognition and put them on par with their national competitors. Partnering with NorthMarq’s corporate team, and using the newly created guidelines as our toolbox, I gave NorthMarq a deep library of off-the-shelf corporate materials to leverage, as well as a system of templates they could customize to their local offices’ needs and opportunities.While the client chose to retain their existing logo, I strengthened the visual identity and carried it through dozens of print and digital collateral, advertising, display, direct mail and stationery pieces. NorthMarq now had a world of consistent branding tools that would strengthen their national presence, unify their offices and support their growth.
